GROSS BASISEconomics
The number,and whereit comes from.
This calculator starts empty. It uses only what you type, shows its formula as it works and puts a stressed case beside the base case. What it shows is a projection from your assumptions, not expected earnings.
How the economics move
The cut is labelled at every handoff.
Three parties, three shares, one statement. You see the pool before it is split, the network's share and your own.
The network keeps its disclosed share for tracking, review and support.
KEEPS xx / xx / xx% BY TIERThe remainder follows qualified activity and the agreed payment timing.
RECEIVES xx / xx / xx% BY TIERAssociatexx% network / xx% partner
Regionalxx% network / xx% partner
Principalxx% network / xx% partner
Splits are written into each partner agreement. The x's stand in for figures a live network would publish only once its compliance reviewer has approved them.
What moves the number
Six things the formula cannot promise.
Any projection is only as good as its weakest assumption. These are the ones that most often turn out lower than planned.
Qualification
Only accounts the broker verifies and funds count. Sign-ups that never fund add nothing.
Activity
Revenue share follows lots actually traded. A quiet month is a smaller month.
Churn
Traders stop. Partners stop. The stressed case doubles your churn so you can see that month too.
Corrections
Reversed trades, chargebacks and broker adjustments are deducted from the pool before it is split.
Timing
The pool is paid monthly in arrears, within x business days of the broker's own statement.
Tax
Statements show gross distribution. What you owe on it depends on where you are; we do not advise on it.
